Default I'll kill someone....Slave cylinder!!!! HELP PLZ

I cant get the damn braided line that goes into the slave cylinder out...wtf...I know the plastic ring needs to be pushed in then it should pop out but it's not popping out...can anyone help me??? I've been to 100 different places looking to see if they had a special tool also...Knives and screwdrivers aren't working for me

I think there is a special tool for it, but I don't know where you could get one. I just used two flathead screwdrivers one on each side.

Keep working. I used like a 12" pry bar. It'll come out when you least expect it.

If you do manage to get it out, the newer 01-02 master comes with a new braided line which so happens to have a new design quick disconnect (flared at edge plastic) which makes removing it with only your thumbs a possibility, let alone making the 2 screwdriver method work well too.

Hey does anybody know where you can purchase that braided line by itself? ...say if you happened to accidentally destroy one... hehehe

FINALLY got everything done...thank you!

New slave and new master... Car is running excellent

Love the ls7 clutch and flywheel
