Default stiff reverse or speedo

sorry i mean stiiff reverse AND no speedo. got in my car tonight and my speedo didnt work and later on i tried to put it in reverse and i had to use two hands to force it. idk if these problems are related but can some one help me out with wat the problem could me. thanks

Don't know about the speedo, but sounds like the reverse lockout solenoid - first thing I'd check is the ENG SEN fuse for an open. No codes?

Is it hard to get the shifter over to the R position or to get it into gear?

its hard to get the shifter all the way to the right. but after that it goes into gear fine. and the fuse is good i just checked it. i have no cats so my SES is allways on.

Get someone/auto zone ect. to read the codes for you...if it's always on won't know when something new happens...

so i was putting in my new torque arm and acidentaly knocked the speed sensor lose. plugged that back in and speedo works but still hard to get it in reverse. ill get the codes checked thanks
