Default Ravin Mufflers ?????

I have my 99 T/A and i bought ravin mufflers on ebay, they have been discontinued and were very hard to find. I heard them on a 98 jeep grand cherokee limited with the 5.9L 360 and this truck sounded mean as hell. has anyone else heard of them and know if they give any Horsepower, or if they are just junk that sound good like chokemasters.

Since when is everything Flowmaster makes junk?? I just bought the Chamber 1 Flows and from what I read they are a very good muffler and sound AMAZING from the clips I've heard. I get them installed tomorrow so we'll see what they sound like in person...

I was being sarcastic. 95TransAm_ToM alluded to Flowmaster sucking at everything, when in fact, that's just not true.

Was I the only one that understood the sarcasm? I had an 80 series on my
LT1 and loved it.I actualy noticed a pretty big SOTP feel from it too. And of course the sound is great.

The Flowmaster muffler that sucks is the one in the LS1 catback (cross-flow design I believe). It sounds real good but flows pretty bad. I have custom duals with flowmaster 40 series and it sounds really good and flows well too. For an f-body not running duals id say magnaflow over anything else IMO. If you running duals then go with flowmaster 10 series single chambers or the borla xr-1's as both sound amazing and flow extremely well.

My mother doesn't really have a Flowmaster either. That was also sarcasm. I'll verify next time I talk to her to make sure.

I swapped a set of Ravins onto my 95 Monte Carlo Z34 after having FM's on for several years. I lost power and gained interior noise. Not a good muffler IMO.
