General LSX Automobile Discussion - Who has the original window sticker

I thought that it would be interesting to start a poll and see who has the original window sticker for their F-Body. I was going through paper work the other day and was looking at mine and thought it would be intersting to see what percentage of people has the original. So here we go. here is a pic of mine.

yes it is. Im so glad ive kept every single record, even the date and milage i changed the oil. Im a little anal to say the least when it comes to cars.

yup...got mine here, and its still in pretty good condition, it came with the car when i bought it along with the bill of sale and everything. Pretty good stuff to have

LOL, so do I. Im keeping everything I take off the car. I even kept the molding strip I took off the doors. You never know.

Yeah, I have mine as well. Pretty amazing that fact that my car is a 2000, I bought it in Feb. 2005 with 45K miles. It was folded up, real similiar to that first pic inside the owners manual in the glovebox. The fact that the original owner kept it still amazes me. It seems like when I run into other LS1 owners, they have never heard of LS1tech and have never done any mods to their cars and never will. Those are the people who would pull it off and throw it away. :mad:

Mine didn't come with the car.... but I do have my sticker for my old 95 Z28.

Mines in a folder upstairs. My car still has the original wiper fluid in it, I never use it.

I think if you call your dealership up they might be able to get you a copy of your car. They probably would want your VIN # so if they call GM up they can pull a copy. Dont quote me on this though.

I don't have my original window sticker, but I do have the Used Car window sticker from the GM dealer I bought the car from.

I have mine. I am the second owner of this car. When I bought the car, the original owner handed me a pretty big box with lots of papers in it. It had all the original stuff from SLP and a while lot of paperwork. Oil changes, smog checks, detail jobs, soap & wax stuff bought at pep-boys. Lots of crap.. Glad he kept it though. When I bought the car in 2004, it sill had the original tires on it. This tells you how much he drove it. To this date, the only malfunction has been a broken window motor!

Wish I still had mine, but I just recieved bits and pieces of paperwork from the previous owner. I did see what it sold for originally though. I've kept a file and kept all the paperwork on performance parts I have added since I bought it, so guess thats better than nothing.

Wow, i'm a real loser I have three Camaro's and ZERO window stickers. Nill, nadda, no window stickers! In my defense, I bought each car used so i'm not entirely responsible for the lack of a paper trail. How 'bout a window sticker to a '06 F350 King Ranch...I do have that :D I do however, have the birth certificates for both SS'. I also have a big collection of stock parts from both of the SS'...including a LS1, 10 bolt (soon to be two of those), wheels, tires, exhaust, intakes, suspension parts, valvetrain pieces...you name it I have it! I need to check into getting a window sticker for both of my SS'...the Z28 will be fine without. It seems I have everything but the stickers, might as well get them too. I would imagine that a call to SLP would do the trick right?

^^ Yeah, calling SLP will be your best bet..

I don't have one for either of my vehicles. I could probably get the one for my Camaro from my brother if he still has it. I bought my formula at a little used car lot.

I don't have one for my 00 WS6, but I do have them for cars I have sold.....07 Mustang GT, 04 GTO, and 96 Z28.

Yep I have mine. We even had it framed, I figure it might be cool to display at car shows sometime if I ever enter one. I just wish it was in better condition. I put a deposit on the car and made a 3 hour drive to the dealer to get it(just about waited too long to buy a new one and had a hard time finding a 6sp). By the time I got there they already removed the sticker and folded up and through it in the glove box. I'm also pretty anal when it comes to keeping records with this car. I have every receipt from window tinting to oil from the first change.

I dont think i have one for my formula, but my 72 Charger had the ORIGINAL window sticker and build sheets.:eek2:

I have mine, I am the third owner and when I bought the car is was already laminated. Now I also have the birth certificate which is also laminated!

I still have the original window sticker for my SS (as well as a bunch of other goodies)!!

I have the window sticker and factory build sheet on the WS6. On the Firebird and the GTO I have the window stickers. Heck on the Firebird I still have the keychain and box Pontiac sent me in November of 1994. I never had anything on the Z28.

Its fun to hear some of the stories that came along with everyones cars. Keep em coming. This is interesting to me.

My car didn't come with one. I was a little surprised since the guy who owned it before me kept records of when he got gas, oil changes, and when he stored it for the winter. I had the window sticker for my 95 Z28. Bought that car almost 4 years ago with 31k on it. The price tag was in the mid 25k range. Pretty steep for 1995.

I still got mine. Bought my car late last year. The original owner was a middle aged woman who used this car as her DD going to and from work. She just had a baby and now her and her husband wanted to get rid of the car to get a more practical car. My car came with the original window sticker, as well as everything that was done to it...oil changes and receipts for everything. The car even still had the original tires on it when I bought it. I'm the same way...I keep everything and I try to keep records of everything that I do to the car.

I've still got my original sticker along with the SLP window sticker with it. Really helps when you have documentation to back up the car and the options that it came with.

I have all mine including the SLP paperwork and instructions and GM build sheet.

I have mine from the '98. I have every scrap of paperwork from that car, down to the first gas receipt.

Not from the '02 though.

I'm the second owner or my car bought it when it was 5 years old and i was 19. It was completely stock when i got it and i got every piece of paper work down to the first owners origional insurance papers, all service paper work, sales recipt and ofcorse the window sticker. Since i started moding the car i have kept just about all of the stock parts down to the cat back and the air lid. Got all the paper work in a folder along with all the recipts for all the parts i've put on it.

Like everyone is saying about how they save every receipt, I do the same. Its great to hear that there are still guys like us out there that document everything from gas and oil, to headers and cams. Im proud to be apart of such a great car group of guys.

The window sticker was the only piece of paperwork i was missing(even had the plant manifest), I ended up trying to get it from the dealership the original owner bought it from, with no success. Ended up ordering it from PHS, and laminated.....all is good in the world!:nod:

Bought my 'T/A in May and found the sticker in the glove box. Reading it from top to bottom every once in a while is like looking at the Playmate of the month's profile...

We can still get windows stickers for our cars through this company.

Still have mine also. One thing that pisses me off, when I see that I paid $450.00 for stupid traction control!! I was gonna order my car, but I couldn't wait and bought from the dealer lot.

I did when I bought it (sold it). I see it as a good thing when buying cars, that the person has it. And all other important documentation.

no f-body yet but i have SOME docementation for the GTP. but my mom has it in a box upstairs. (im 16). i got it from carmax about 3 months ago and am very anual about the car. the cat almost died a couple of times for getting on the hood before i caught him. a navy blue car and a cat with white hair just doesn't mix. i try to wash it when i can. (stupid water restrictions). i know it didn't come with the window sticker (i wish i did. it would be cool to have.) and im not sure with what else it came with. i had to leave before my mom finished signing papers for the car. as far as i know the car has EVERY option for the grand prixs in 2000. it is a GTP S/C. but now that i read this thread and since i haven't saved any reciepts yet i am going to save the receipts for what i do and get for the car. samething with the z28 when it comes along. if i get the paper work with it. i agree this is a awesome thread.

I always wondered what my car was new, 02 Z28 m6 convertible, power options, 12 disc, leather, chrome. Gotta be 30k+ I'd think. I only paid 16 g's with 49k on it :)

I have every document from when the car was ordered from SLP even the key & rear view mirror tags.The original owner put every thing in a hard binder & belonged to the SS club which came with a antenna flag & window sticker.

i got my 02 formy with 34,000 on the clock last week and was looking through the owners manual today and found mine folded up inside...i was like, well thats badass!

I actually found it in the back of the owners manual a couple weeks ago after owning the car for a year and a half lol. I have it in a clear picture frame and all receipts and paper work from when I bought the car including birth certificate.

That is such a great idea. I dont know why I never thought to frame it. That would make a great addition in the office.

got mine, and SLP printed one off for me when i got my options from them too. i kept everything i could get my hands on for my car, i even have the air bag caution tag off the heater control. my sales lady new i was anal from day one and called me when the new models came out to give me the dealer sales book. she also printed an internal memo off that stated GM was adding the hurst shifter option and deleting the green color option.

Thanks Smokin00WS6. I'll be getting a frame for the BC as well soon. Full options list as well as the numbers for 2000 Camaros built and a breakdown of how many with Artic White, T-tops, auto, leather, etc looks good at shows IMO. I could only narrow mine down to 1 of 327 due to not having anymore info for further breakdown.

I'm the 4th and now the final owner of 1-of-2 dream cars and I do have the original window sticker. And it's in good shape. Along with that came maintenance and repair papers from all the previous owners (I believe the previous owners knew each other) as well as the original purchase form when you buy the car new. Didn't need em so I trashed all the papers j/k. I still have and will keep all the papers. My SS is a '98 with only 72,xxx miles. I'll try to get a pic of the original window sticker. I bought my car with 16,000 miles in december of 07. im the third owner and the guy i got it from said he had the window sticker. so when i got home and looked through the paperwork he had the used car sticker from when he bought it with 10k miles, man i was pissed. o-yah and he lost the owners manual. i cant see how anyone can do that to such a low mileage car.

They look the same other than the ws6 package. Look at mine on the first page and you will see it. I know of the place where you can do it, Ill have to look it up though. Ill post it up when I get the info where to get one. Im not sure if you have to be a dealership or not.

I'm the 4th owner and I have mine. It was bought in georgia, 6 years later it was wrecked and bought by Hawks third gen in SC, then sold to a guy in PA, then over to MO for a few months, then back here to SC. I think the sticker price was $27K.

My story is identical to yours....I'm second owner, I got my ride in 2005 w/89,000 on it. First owner was a 40 year old woman who really took good care of the car. She had all the service papers and everything....it was all done at the dealership. All the recalls had been fixed and all. I bought my car for $6800....I feel lucky to have such a clean car for that price:) Here's my papers:
