Default Cutting ls1 valley coolant tubes

Has anyone had to do this before instaling a wieand intake? Do you really have to do that? Mabey i just reading it wrong,

It's the exact same as an LS6 intake. Instead of cutting the pipes, just get the front crossover pipe and the rear plugs.

x2^ its just cutting each individual block in the back and then making one tube-crossover in the front. just go get the ls6 tubes they cost about 45-50 dollars, and pretty easy to find. I think slp has them and I bet lm performance has them.

its cheaper to cut and weld the current ones than buying those ls6 coolant tubes

I got mine from GM dealer, then ordered the block offs for the rear. All you have to do is get one off of a 01 or newer.
