Exhaust port, mounting and angle difference between LS1/LS2 and LS7 Heads Are the exhaust port locations, mounting hole locations and face angle on the LS7 heads that much different than the LS1/LS2 heads. I can buy a set of Year One (Stainless Works) headers they developed for the Retro Trans Am and have them modified cheaper than getting them scratch built. I talked to Year One and they said the headers were developed for an LS7 and they weren't sure if they could be used on an LS1/LS2. I was wondering if it's as simple as changing the flanges to make it compatible to the LS1/LS2 head. Application is for a 2nd Gen Camaro. thanks.
