3rd member I got a chance to buy a 9 inch 3rd member for $200. Is in good condition with posi and 3:55 gears. But it is a 28 spline axle setup. Will this hold 400 horses or should I wait and find a 31 spline setup. I plan on ordering moser housing and axle package...

Thats a great deal for $200.00. It should hold 400 hp, the trouble though is it will limit you down the road, and you'll then have to upgrade to 31 spline axles. It's a tough call! Bob

Plans for the car are to go cam-only and a 100 shot. I will not spray out of the hole but from 2nd gear down. So the 28 spline axles should be ok?? And thanks for the help.
