Finally got my LS6 powered WS6 home!!
I just finished up a deal with Matt New Era Performance, bought his old car, a 98 WS6.
I messaged him a while back when he was selling it as a heads/cam LS1 and he said "I'm actually having an 03 Z06 LS6 motor installed, would you still be interested?"
Hmmmmm...I dunno...lemme think...F*CK YEA!
So after a short wait and a 12 hour drive my friend and I picked up the car and brought it back last night. The final price, $13,000(that includes the car and all work, tuned and out the door). Car has 73k orig, full exhaust, FAST 90mm intake, 90mm throttle body, 19k mile Z06 LS6 motor, UD pulley, Z06 wheels, brand new tires all around with drag radials, TA girdle/stud kit, line lock, B&M shifter, MBA flaming chicken shift ****, adjustable panhard bar, etc, etc. The thing looks BRAND NEW, paint/body are MINT, interior looks GREAT, I can't even begin to tell you how pleased I am!
I know, you're probably waiting to kill me at this point, so here are the pics on my f-quick page...I'd post em up but I'm still pretty remedial wit it.

Forgot to mention the dyno numbers, it made 385 rwhp and 381 rwtq.
Oh yeah, and what was even better about this whole deal was he gave me the choice of how I wanted it built! I could have had the cam, valvetrain, etc, etc, even the old nitrous kit in it if I really wanted.
Reason it stayed a full bolt-on only LS6 was for simple streetability. I want 450 driveble HP, a car that can still sneak around like an average no-cam LS1 without anyone being the wiser. I figured, 400+ HP f-bodies are common, but how many have a stock sounding cam profile?? This thing will shred MOST cars on the street but still get decent enough gas mileage to drive daily(which will be it's life for a few months at least).

Looks good! A friend used to have trans am just like yours.... it had a salvage title since it was stolen and later found without engine, they transplanted one from a LS1 corvette, and gaot some bolts ons plus a z06 cam.... car run pretty good, best time if memory serves me right was 12.24, you couldn't tell it had that z06 cam, it sounded stock. I have been wanting to get a cam like that of a z06 for mine since then....

Thanks guys! I'm very psyched about the car! I'm pretty much leaving it alone except for some minor appearance mods like tint and blacking out all the lights. Mechanically, I'm eventually just going to do a built T56 and either beef the hell out of the 10 bolt or get a 12...if I can get funding
And yea...the drive was a blast on the way up, my friend and I bullsh*tted the whole way, felt like a 2 hour trip. The way back on the other hand...well, we got somewhat tired and therefore IT SUCKED.
And it's a 12 hour trip total, 6 hours each way. NY state goes pretty much right up into Canada so you can drive for HOURS up there.
