These look different from the ones that I have seen and bought for my car. where do these mount at?

they mount anywhere you want, just weld stright to the pipe.

Those look pretty sweet. I had a 3" DMH cutout on my T/A and it's a quality piece. After about 2 years it started to rattle when shut and they replaced it for me for free...great customer service.

Wow I'm freakin confused. I thought you had at least oval Y-pipe for that setup. I'm a bit boggled on how there is an advantage of this over the normal DMH. My DMH didn't loose any ground clearance. Maybe the actual cut-out is oval?

round pipe into cutout...cutout itself goes oval..for clearance. WHY ARE U CONFUSED.

which y-pipe is that you're using? I have the QTP cutout y-pipe on my car and the y-pipe and QTP cutouts scrape like crazy over speed bumps at any angle.
