Default 6.0 LQ4/4L80E Conversion

So i'm new to LS1tech and so far i've seen that there is a wealth of info in all its members. I am currently finishing up my '76 Chevy C-10 Stepside resto and its about time to start thinking about the powerplant. I'm looking to do a 6.0/4L80E conversion that is California legal. I know many people have done this to many different vehicles and was wondering if any of them ever wrote out what exactly it takes to complete the conversion. I understand the basics of what is required but it would be awesome if someone could fill me in on the details or point me in the direction of a conversion manual or write-up.

This "SHOULD" be a simple swap, maybe just motor and trans mounts aside from the HP fuel system and wiring. Great choice of power train, you wont be disappointed!
