Default LSX Block Owners: enlighten me on a few things

couple questions, I've done a search and I see many threads on pricing and where to find a good deal on the LSX or "is it worth it" etc etc...anyways: What cam/heads/intakes are good on these? I've read that the head selection is a big problem right now..is this true?

thanks in advance to anyone who can leave some info!

What's wrong with your current combo? The only thing I would see to change is your intake FAST 90/90, different cat-back and maybe tighten the LDA on your camshaft?

I think the main problem with the LSX is where to find one? I think they stopped production for now. I'm planning on going with one once I can find it. I'm not sure where you heard the problem with the heads? As far as I know they accept any head an ls1 will they just have extra bolt holes you can use if you get a special head made for it like I plan to do with the ETP heads. There are a few other companys that offer them also but you don't have to use them, a normal ls1 head works too unless I'm misinformed.

i dont think anything is wrong with my current setup, but if i want to get serious about getting it to a drag car, i feel as though the lsx is the best block to go with obviously. i did some searching on the forum and found some different links and dif sponsors that can sell the block. ill look for that thread i read once about problems matching heads and if i can find it ill pm it to u.

Lot's of sponsors sell them but you might want to ask them before you get your hopes up because I don't think any have them in stock.
