flowmaster as in you have the 80 series right now? if so you could gain a lot from goin true duals, they say that the 80 series is around or less flowing than the stock muffler, id say you could see up to 30hp gains.

yeah flowmasters suck! the 40 series is the only good muffler they have besides a race muffler.

in theory, people lose about 15hp with an 80 series setup compared to other aftermarket setups, if you had a better flowing setup you would be 15hp up, then about another 15 hp for going to true duals, just a theory, it would be like going from your stock system to true duals.

Most likely an 80 series. Hardly ever seen the 40series on our cars.

Just going to headers + true duals netted me a gain of 43HP and 34 ft/lb of torque. Keep in mind I have cats on the car, magnaflow 3 inch, and a 3 inch custom muffler for each pipe. Gains are at the wheels.

numbers are from the same dyno, SAE corrected, first time was 325ft/lb 306HP second time was 359ft/lb 349HP.

Was that from flowmasters? Or stock exhaust?

I went with the dynomax silver bullets true duals with X and turns down at rear. Sounds really good.
