Default M/T Street Drag Radials or Hoosier Drag Radials

What tire would guys prefer as far as traction at the track and good also for hooking on the street from a dig

the common consensus seems to be MT DR's. From everyone I talk to, they love the hell out of them things....

I've had both of them and I can honestly say they both perform same at the track, but on the street I had more traction with the hoosiers. But all in all I would go with the ones that are cheaper.

He's right, the hoosiers hook better on the street than the MTs do, but they'll wear out quicker and don't have much of a tread pattern at all (2 grooves).

I had 315-35-17 hoosiers on my 569 rwhp Mustang and they hooked very well on the street.
