Default Tell what transmission i have???

I own a 99 T/A with a auto transmission, is it the 4l80E or 4l60e ? Im looking for a shift kit

tranny is brand new was replaced by a dealership before i bought it but on the paperwork it doesn't say what type it is.

Im looking at the B&M shift kit for if and there are 2 kits one for 4l80e from 91' - 02' and the other 93'-01' for the 4l60E

somebody can correct me if im wrong, but an F-Body never came with a 4l80e. go with the 4l60e kit.

The 4l80 is Sooo Big it would take a lot of cutting to get one in an Fbody.

93's had the 700R4. Pretty much identical. Though there are some differences.

Its a 4L60e.

I personally always used Trans-go

Leave the TQ management on.

Put a 3000-3500 stall (Yank, Vigi, Pro-Torque) Lock up converter.
