Default No revers...

My buddy has a RX-7 that a 383 LT-1 and t-56 were dropped in and for some reason just reverse isnt working.. any ideas on why...

Is he not able to get into reverse or what?

lockout solenoid is jammed... how do i fix that...

Replace the solenoid. That is the only way unless you really force it into reverse and that is not advised. You should be able to get the solenoid at the autoparts store local to you.

I think its held on by one or two bolts. Its on the drivers side of the tranny directly under the shifter. If its difficult or not depends on how much room you have in the tranny tunnel.

were dropping the tranny so rooms not an issue... can any one send me a picture or post one up please..
