Narrowed 9"?
I was planning on running 15x10, 4.5" bs Welds Draglites with a 3" narrow on each side, but I just found a post in an older thread where someone said you have to loose the E-brake with a 3" narrow. Is this true and if so, will I be able to run this wheel with a 2-2.5" narrow without the wheel sticking out on the sides?

I am trying to avoid extra cost on the rear and extra parts (I am putting this together on a budget). I know a lot of people run 5" backspacing on a 2" narrow but I would like to know how close the wheels come to sticking out.

mine is narrowed 2 a side with 15x10 5 inch back space 26x11.5 ET streets and the tires are flush with the fenders 4.5 will make them stick out a 1/2 inch. I had to mod the relocation brackets to clear my e-brake with out a relocation bracket it might be OK, question for you tho, is your rear brakes on the front or rear of the rear. I have a 93 so I know theres a lot of diffrences, the LS1 cars the brakes sit on the front. reason I ask is the caliper is really close to the spring pirch on the driver side as well if its on the rear of the rear 2 would be the max or your not going to be able to get the brakes on there, everyone I seen do 3 inches so far has and LS1 with the brakes on the front side. maybe the 94+ are diffrent I never took notice.

Thanks. That what I needed to know. I have a buddy who has a pair of Draglites still in the boxes and he was going to sell them to me dirt cheap as they came with a car he bought and he does'nt need them. I was hoping to save some $ on wheels. I am pretty sure my brakes are on the back side.
