Florida Members - gears in a gto, who does them?

ive got a friend that is going to need his rear differential rebuilt pretty soon i guess its making some noise. well he wants to put some gears in it. i just dont know where to send/recommend him to have some gears put in.
anyone?

hahahaha id like to do the gears but dont have the special tools to do so, our dealership doesnt even have them. we just replace the whole assembly, which sucks.

I have done them. The only problem is parts. The only place that I have found to get the install kit is down under. I would suggest getting a Kazz diff also.

I have called TAC and they told me there are no tools or proceedures for the gears. They are diff replacement only.

GTO gears are super easy just buy all the shit from difftechnics and bolt it together. There is no pinion dpeth setting and you just screw in the carrier supports for backlash (IE 9INCH STYLE). EASIEST GEARS EVER.

interesting. yea i have heard of tac telling techs there is not purcedures as s.i. has nothing on it either.

mark can do them with alot of cussing...but they work fine..
