Figured this applies to appearance and detailing. Check out this guy, he even jumps in his van to come wipe bird poo off of your lambo.

thats stupid. no doubt the guy is probably good at what he does but im pretty sure there are guys on here that could do a better job for 500 dollars or less. proof that people with multi-hundred thousand dollar cars use spending lots of money on a detail because their cars "deserve" it. just my $.02

Your going to tell me that if you owned a Maseratti MC12 or a Bugatti Veyron, you wouldn't pay top dollar to keep it lookin pretty.
Hell if I had the money, I'd pay that guy to clean my Trans Am, just because.

Can't knock the guy for making a name for himself, and his talents are worth whatever his customers are willing to pay him.....
but there a half dozen or so guys that regularly post in this forum that could do the same quality job he does.

that is the way the manufacturer recommends applying their product. If you are going to spend that kind of $$$, then I would think you should at least follow their application directions.
and the Royale Glaze is $7,600 these days .. the vintage is only $1,900, so it would be a bargain..

That person(Paul Dalton) is actually a personal friend of our Tropi-Care UK distributor. He travels all over England and western Europe to detail these supercars.
More power to you if your work justifies higher charges than others. Customers are more than willing to pay for quality and reliable performance.
I get many inquiries about guys setting up their own detail business. All I have to say to them is: Don't worry about what other detailers in the area are charging. Pay attention to the quality of detail job at hand and don't give the work away for the sake of getting the job. The finished quality and word of mouth will do more for future business than any other advertising.
The higher carnauba content paste wax will soften and spread easier because of the warmth of the hands.

the only thing i question is washing the car in direct sunlight......and I would have thought for that much cash, he would have used distilled water only(dont think he did).......the guy seems meticulous tho
