Default question about torq arm

ok, when going to remove the driveshaft i run into a problem pulling it out from under the car due to i guess my exhaust being to big & close to the torque arm, is it possible to take the torque arm completely off the car and it NOT be a PITA to bolt it back to the rear end? due to the rear end wanting to spin or turn when it's unbolted at all from the torque arm? if so where would i put the jack/jack stands on the rear end to keep it from turning?

thanks,
michael

Just put a jack under the rear and when you jack it up on the back side it will tilt forward again.

Agreed, the only part will be getting it to the re bolt to the clam shell up front at worst. A hyd jack under the diff will keep it from spinning
