The problem with these is a regular header is made from alot thinner metal than 16g. I'm not sure they are heavey enough to handle the heat on a front mount setup.

Why would you consider going to headers? Your nowhere near maxing out the manifolds, ask me how I know..

pretty sure they'll work but a/c compressor/heater hoses would be a problem, and from what i remember i dont think your car kept a/c did it? Anyways they look pretty good and they dont seem to "flare out" and hit the chassis like other manifolds but who knows, im guessing they'll work pretty dam good but a/c must be gone and alternator has to be relocated up top. And yea i know that you know that already lol hopefully somebody who has actually tried can chime in

I brought a set of stainless steel 16 guage truck replacement headers and they work fine but the only thing i ran in to it she steering shaft hit the #3 header runner so im gonna have to cut it off and re position it. My flange is 1/2"thick and the runners are 16g 304 stainless. If i find a pic i will post it

everything bolts up just like the truck manafolds but due to the runners sticking out a tad further than the manafolds it will hit the steering shaft only the #3 runner though, the rest are ok.

Wouldn't that be almost impossible to make a profit on?

the truck headers will fit but you have to modify I think the number 5 primary. That is what I run.
