whats up guys need some info if anyone can help. i just did my swap from a
A4 to M6. i have a 93 Camaro and got me the M6 trans from a 96 SS. now i am having an issue with the VSS going crazy while i am driving. i hooked up the purple wire to the A side of the connector but do i need to get some tuning done to fix it? my car is an OBD 1 so i dont know if it matters. Thanks. by the way car does wanna stall out while stopping.

What exactly is the speedo doing?

IIRC the manual transes have a 17 pulse per rev VSS and the autos have a 40 pulse per rev. So I think that programing should take care of it.

the car is showing acceleration way faster than what i am actually doing. it says i am at 150mph when i am at about 35 mph. the only problem i have is that i believe that 93 Camaro VSS cant be tuned like the older models 94 and later. any info on this???

On the 93`s you can`t just reflash with HPTuners, but there is a way to reprogram it. On the trucks of that age there is a box that you can calibrate by unsoldering/soldering in jumpers. I don`t know if the f-bodies are set up like that. But even if they are not there will be a way to recalibrate it, you may have to have a new computer chip burnt
