Default Slp lid install

I am putting on my slp lid and was it suppose to come with something to match up with the mafs? it seems like there should be some kind of rubber padding or some kinda of seal. The mafs will slide into the slp lid i just figured there is something missing. Let me know asap if you could.

Nope that's all you get. Just a piece of molded plastic. It is a very tight fit.

REAL tight! Took me half an hour to get that **** on! I was very concerned that I was going to crack the lid.

Just have patience though, and use some lube and work it in slowly. (Ha! I just realized how dirty that sounds!)

But seriously, I used some liquid soap, it helped alot.

if the lube doesnt work, i ended up using a heat gun on the lid to get it warm. it expands a good bit and makes it much easier, just use a hair dryer

I wouldn't waste your time with any lube. Its much faster to just get a hair dryer and hear up the ends for 5 min. and it will slide right over no problem.
