Default Custom intake with box

I have the Suncoast creations Ram Air hood on my Camaro, but didn't like how pinched the airflow was on the box that came with the hood. So I took a stab at fiberglassing and fabrication and made my own air box and intake. The hood kit used the LT1 radiatior cover for their air box, so this is no LS1 radiator cover. I sanded the center plastic that proruded in the center, then made a box out of plexiglass, and patiently fiberglassed the two parts together. After sanding and using bondo fiberglass filler with more sanding I painted the whole thing with black stone paint to give it a durable finish.
The intake is a 4" polished tube connected to a K&N cone. The entire project only cost me about $80, the most expensive being the K&N of course. You can definately hear the cone through the snouts at idle.

Nice! Have you thought about selling these to whoever is interested? It should make the same difference as the ones they sell and a whole lot cheaper!

Not sure, this was my first attempt at something like this so this is just a first off. I want to build another one that matches the paint on my car with the hockey stripes on the sides of the box just as they are on the car as well.

Thanks guys! Like I said this was my first attempt so its not perfect but its far from thrown together. I wanted an oval intake to fill the box but the ones at the local stores are huge like for diesels and K&N catalog has so many it would prob take a few days to find the right one.
