Default will a 27''-10.5 tire fit a stock 16'' z28 wheel ok?

i have stock 16''z28 wheels and i am puting et street or hoosier quick times on them. will a 27''-10.5 fit ok? or do i need to go with a -9.5'' tire and how well it hook up on a stock suspension 02 zo6 with 845rwhp 1.5 -1.6 60''?

I am pretty sure it will work. I have seen several 26/11.50/16's on them. I had a pair before myself.

with 850 to the wheel i can imagine your traction issue .

as far as it fitting the stock 16s i think are around 8 inches on the rim so it would not be safe to run that wide of a tire . might want to look for a little wider rim with that power .

if you have not read the sticky a the top take a look as it has some good info on all the tire sizes .

Lots of people run 26x10.5 and 26x11.5's on stock 16x8's with no problems at all and in fact MT recommends an 8" wide rim for the 27x10.5x16's.. It will be no problem at all.
