Default FINALLY got an SS!!

Hey guys, and gals.. I'm proud to say I am the new owner of a 2000 Camaro SS.. woohooo

60k AT, !rear seats, K&N Filter, basically stock.. Interior and exterior both in excellent shape.. picked her up for 13.5k.. It's still at the dealer right now, getting detailed, inspected, oil change, and plates put on.. will pick her up this next weekend, fri or sat!! Can't wait to drive her home. Suggestions for first mods are most welcome, actually encouraged! Thanks for viewing, and I can't wait to get the most out of this board, and the great people here!!

looks exactly like my 2000 looked like when i picked her up...looks clean! First mods...headers, y- pipe, and cat back would give u a good boost in h/p and great sound! Then work the intake side...lid, tb, and intake manifold. (If you can afford both i'd do that, all of those mods compliment eachother. But id go complete intake or complete exhaust first.) Hope that helps

Does it have CME already? Looks like it has the rear valence on it.

Nope I don't believe it does if it's what I'm thinking of, I thought only 02's had that with the pipes coming out the back in the center..

hey guys I was thinking for the exhaust to get ARH 1 3/4 stainless steel headers coupled with their Y-pipe, flowing back to a Corsa Twin Pro series 3.5 tips.. what do yall think? (Money is no big deal, I can save pretty good)

Thanks for all the input already guys, I appreciate it!! I was surprised how fast I got replies already lol

exhaust, intake and "STALL AND GEARS". you want to wake it up put on the stall and gears before you go big with h/c or n20. Wish I would have listened when they told me. Put you in the 12's for sure. But its JMO. Good luck!

Congrats!!! A 3000 stall (atleast) will be the biggest bang for the buck besides nitrous. I assume you have the 3.23. Trust me it will take off like an animal!!! Don't forget some Drag Radials and tranny cooler you are going to need both.

Hey man, I've got an '02 Black SS and make no mistake, there's nothing and I mean NOTHING like owning a Camaro Super Sport. The history of these cars are legendary, you definately have bragging rights now. I say use them. The worst thing you can do now is to take the car out dirty. I just want to scream when I see a dirty SS. No reason for it. Congratulations man, you've made it.

Congrads on the buy. I've never owned a SS - 3 TA's no Camaros. Wouldn't mind one some day, in addition to the WS6 of course.
