Default Which AFR heads for 4.010 bore?

Will the AFR 225(2.08/1.60valves 72cc chamber) heads have a problem sitting on
4.005 bores?

I want to run these with a single T-88, but I don't know if I have to go down to the
AFR 205's since I'm not running a 4.100+ bore.

Block is an LS2.

I would think you'd be ok. There are people running the big bore heads on 3.9 bore blocks. I'm one of them

The 225s will work perfect on your setup.

I was wondering about this same thing.

What are the advantages of running the 225 vs the 205 on boosted 347?

I used the 'small bore' AFR 225s on my 347 Jay, I think they would have worked fine on the new 4.005 engine I just put in too but I went with a new set of 72cc 225s instead. I've seen guys run the small bore heads on 4.005 bore engines and I've seen guys use the 72cc ones on 3.905 bore engines and they all seem to work fine..

Thanks for being persistant and calling me, Jay. Our phone lines get real busy during the day and I don't always have time to get on here during the day to check my pm's. Bob
