Default p&p throttle body?

I've got a 2002 z28 and i'm looking for a ported and polished throttle body but i would not be able to send my throttle body out without having another one here since it is my only car and my daily driver. is there anyone on here that sells throttle bodys with all of the work done without taking a core? I would be able to send my core after i install the modded throttle body.

how much of a difference is there between having the epoxy done or not? What does the epoxy mod do anyways?

yep, apexx will do a p&p TB for $70, and if you want the outside polished he will do it for $20 extra. I contacted him and seems like a nice guy to deal with

Yeah I am almost certain New Era only ports them, I was looking at the TB service on their site. I am not for sure which sponsor ports and polishes, I suppose you could just call around and ask and find the best deal. Most likely it will be in the neighborhood of 65-80 bucks.

New Era Ports them, but they do such a good job that it comes across as polished when you look at it....

I did a lot of research looking into it, if any at all, epoxy does very little, also I have read many threads where the epoxy just breaks off and gets sucked into the intake.....IMO it's not worth it

Its supposed to fill the void were IAC operates in the opening of the TB housing, its filled in and drilled to a smaller size to still let it and other things operate but make a smoother transition past the TB blade. It does nothing on the dyno.
