any info on where to find one would be greatly appreciated. I want to swap my 4.8 out of my 2000 reg cab short bed 4x4 automatic.

243s port polished milled to 57ccs
a cam for torque cant remember specs
ls1 internals and bore

but truthfully i want to sell it to some1 doin a coversion
because i have the fly by wire pedal, computer, harness, intake to oil pan

gotcha, im dealing with the same thing.
i have a 82 rcsb chevy lifted 12 inches on 39 tsl boggers with a radical 350
i finished putting 4.56s in the rear now its time for the front.

no im not and seriously dont waste your money on it

take your block and have it bored to an ls1 bore
put a good set of used heads on it (243s shaved)
a decent cam
and there u go a budget 5.7
for gazillions cheaper than the 6.0

o yea i left that out u need to get a 5.3 ls1 or 6.0 crank
u can pick them up pretty cheap
