Default Dual widebands necessary with BS3?

I will be getting BS3 for my procharged car. I was curious if the dual wideband option is worth it. I was told its an extra $600. Any responses are appreciated.
Thanks

I say definately worth it! If you stick a wideband after the Y your reading both banks mixed so if you run lean on one bank and rich on another you won't know. IMO I like the capability to monitor both banks seperatley than getting a rough estimate of the two mixed.

I probably wont opt for the dual widebands. I talked to Kurt at W2W and he sayed to just stick with the single.

Not to hijack your thread Jimmy p but while we are on the topic I was wondering if any of you use the boost controller option? I have it on mine + wideband but dont know of any that use it.

Why not just put the o2 sensor at the center of the x on the x-pipe to get the reading? You will be getting an average reading, but unless you have an injector fail or take readings at each cylinder, it should not make a difference.

A single wideband is usually sufficient for most applications. Just remember to check the plugs to verify the reading, especially lucky #7. With the bs3 you can add fuel or subtract timing per cylinder, EGT would be the best way to get a good tune-up done with but that option is in the works for the bs3.
