Default XS LT's, ORYP and Flo Pac Muff, rasp?

I have read a lot of threads talking about rasp especially with a ORYP. I have read you should use a catted Y with a GMMG exhaust and a few others.

I have a 00' Firehawk with the Flo Pac muffler on it. At first I didn't think it was loud enough but I have changed my mind. At WOT the car makes noise. With LT's and the ORYP I think it will be louder.

What exactly is "rasp"? I am sure I have heard it but I can't put my finger on it.

Thanks.

Heres my take on it i'm sure other people will have a different thought about it.
Rasp is like a nasty crakely poping sound almost like a ricer sound.

Pretty good description. Just add loud cause it's usually headers + no cats.

This video has a pretty good rasp sound caught on film. When he first starts to drive away and the car makes the weird high pitched exhaust noise.. that is rasp. It sounds decent at Wide open throttle although still very high pitched sounding. Other than the exhaust the car is wicked as hell with the blower and cam.
