Question ???input On A X-pipe With Flowmaster Mufflers

someone in my area is selling an x-pipe with flowmaster mufflers(no pipe after that) anyone know if that would sound good or even work with the stock headers(manifolds) i am looking to buy it tomorrow so any help is greatly appreciated!!!!

Most people say an H pipe sounds better with the flowmaster, but I'm sure they sound great with an X pipe also. I'm sure it would fit up to you exhaust manifolds; you would just need to bring it to an exhaust person to add the pipe and weld it up for you.

Just make sure they are the better flowing 1 chamber FM's. They aren't called "chokemasters" for nothing!! My car came with an 80 series FM and just switched to a Hooker Aero Flow 3" (vs.2.5) and could feel SOTP difference.
