Fueling & Injection - Ford injector info.

Anyone that has any knowledge of this please chime in. ASAP. The white injectors on the ford cars and trucks they have the same wire harness will they work on our cars. If so what size are they.

What colors should I look for?

I think this is right so far

Brown = 30 lb
Green = 42 lb
White = ?

What car are they out of? Never heard of white.... possibly a cheap Autozone/O'Reilys replacement?

I have SVO injectors in my car and they are 30#'s but they are red.....

Alright, I found the info!!! Its been awhile since I have had to look up Ford stuff but the answer to your question is............. 21# at 43.5 psi(221cc/min)The Bosch number on the white tops is 280150991. According to Ford Racing (FRD), that they will be 24# if you ran them at 58psi. BUT, if they are not Ford injectors but regular bosch injectors (not color coded like ford) they could be from anything. but here is a nice list of all Bosch injectors with some info.

I had to search through alot of CRAP on the corral.net to find this info. That place is a gigantic mess over there, not like it was in the earlier years..... :(

Thanks felton316 thats good archive info for me. Just to clear up why I really want to know. I get them from cars that are to be crushed and sometimes there is no car just an engine. I have (24) white injectors and now I will be on the lookout for the green or brown... I will definately pass on the stuff here if anyone wants them.



BTW they say ford on them but my stockers I think they are 26 and are better than these white ones.

there are not many production vehicles with large injectors.

The lightings are your best bet, the old svo's had large injectors too. (not sure if they are compatible with the ls1 though)

The supercharged GM cars have a decent size, (mabe 36?)

Most production vehicles are 24 or smaller, no good for the ls1's.
