i was wondering if i can run a 305/45/r18 or if it is too tall. i have zo6 relpicas on my car and have 295/35/18 and there is a lot of space in the fender well. if i go up to a 45 series will i be losing a lot of performance from the gearing being extra high. i am running stock gearing now and am on nitrous so i konw the longer gearing isnt a bad thing. but will such a tall tire be too much?

How do you figuire that???


305 mm = 12.008" section width

45% of 12.00" = 5.404" side wall

2*(5.404") + 18" = 28.808" . . . or 28 7/8" or damned close to 29" . . . .
