Default Destroke a LS1?

I am looking to build a strong 1/8th motor. So what I am wondering is if anyone knows if a truck 4.8 or even a 5.3 crank will work in a 01 LS1? I have done this with a older style 4 bolt main 350 with a 283 crank with a little internal work. Please help me.

5.3 crank is the same as an LS1 stoke wise.

True. I think the differences between them are the reluctor wheel being larger and the rear main seal on the rear will be larger as well.
