Default Where To Find A 12 Bolt Rearend?

Where can I find one at? Like what kind of truck/car can I just pull one off of. My friend's uncle has a small salvage yard. He buys cars and then he'll crush them and I'm sure he will sell me a 12 bolt rear end if one of the cars/trucks out there had one. I just been reading all the stories about 10 bolts breaking with an M6 and I don't wanna have to go through that. Either I get a 12 bolt or I'm gonna have to swap my M6 for a stalled A4.

regular 12-bolts won't work on a 4th gen. They do not have the mounting provisions for the torque arm setup. Older car 12-bolts (1st/2nd gen Camaros) used leaf springs for suspension, completely different. Torque arms came out on the 3rd gen f-bodies, and didn't come with a 12-bolt.

Oh.. Yeah well I don't know too much about that. Thanks for the info. If all else fails, this kid is gonna have to go with an A4 .
