If the stick says Hurst maybe. If not No. You'd have to post pics or check the RPO code that I don't remember off the top of my head but a quick search will find it for you.

I believe the hurst shifter was available on all LS1 cars only - optional on the 98's-99's, then became standard equipment on 00's-02's.

Here's some pics....I don't see an H on it anywhere? I was hoping to get the WS6 Store short stick, but they say if you have a non-Hurst then it will hit the center console...

The shifter pictured is most likely not a hurst. Yours didn't come from the factory with one, so it would have to be added later for you to have one. Odds are if that happened, they wouldn't have kept the stock stick & ****.......but it's possible I guess. Need to look at the shifter base to be certain.

Default shifter

you'll have to remove the lower boot to tell , OE and Hurst shifters used stock handles, so no way to tell w/o removing boot.

Hoe does everone know that it is not a hurst? The only way to tell is to look at the base.

I didn't know it would be on the base, I'll get the boot off to look at it soon as I get a chance. BUT, if it didn't come from the factory with one, then I know it's not....my car's 100% stock. That's what I was asking, if mine came from the factory with one...
