My gf's 93 Z28 is a stripper hard top car with the only options being A/C and rear defrost. No power seats, nothing. We suspect its a 1LE car, it even has SLP suspension and shocks.

How can I be positive if it is or not? Is there a special code or something on the car like in the RPO codes?

Yes, look for the RPO code "1LE".

LT1 1LE's don't have A/C.

I read somewhere that it was an option to have the A/C deleted on the 1LE cars. But you could have it on them.

Look through RPO's, its 1LE is in there, then you've got a 1LE

1LEs didn't come with air, I seriously doubt you could get air in them as an option...not in 93 anyways. I do know that ALL camaros in 96 came with the option of air....

in 2001 the 1le or the slp ss came with air and all that other convienant <SP?> stuff

idk if the LT1 cars could have air but it could have been added at the dealer or etc. check the RPO codes.

there was only 19 1LE cars in 93 and you couldn't get A/C
