I found a slightly wrecked '06 GTO with 7k miles on it. It is a 6spd and has a Maggie on it. I do not know what else is done to the car. The dealer that has it doesn't know anything about these cars and he actually thinks the supercharger came on it from the factory. I don't know much about them either really and was wondering what kind of power this car is making with the Maggie.. I know there are different boost levels, but lets just say 10 psi with a good catback, cai, etc... I would assume that 10psi is safely doable with a good tune right? Like I said I don't know diddly about the GTO's, but I am thinking about trying to buy this car to repair it and keep it as a DD. Anything I should know about the Magnusons?? Good and bad issues??

450-550whp depending on other mods and what maggie it has. Belt slip probably starts being an issue much above 500hp with a 112. Should be 100% reliable as long as you get a BMR aluminum driveshaft and DON'T put slicks on it until you have all the bushings you can buy for the back, stub-hub axles and a harrop diff cover.

maggies put out 5psi with stock pulley and dyno around 440/470 at the wheels with other bolt ons.
