Default Factory interior? What's up?

This is my '96 WS6. I have never seen another Trans Am with seats like this. And I have this little red switch down on the side of my center console, it lights up red when I switch it on... it looks like for a heated seat I'm guessing? But when I've tried and the seat doesn't heat up...so I'm not sure what that is.

Plus not sure if these seats came in my car factory, or if maybe the dealer installed them back when it was new...but they've been in there for quite awhile I can tell because the drivers seat has the normal bolster wear, not torn though. It has 85k miles, I'm the second owner, and I have reason to believe it was driven by a middle aged woman. I'm not sure, I bought it from a used car lot. So what do you guys think about this?

Look just like the seats out of my '00 Firehawk. I don't have that hard plastic **** in back of my seat either like some other T/A's normally do. My previous f-body ('96 WS6) had some badass seats. Wish I would have kept them..

Oh yeah, mine don't have the hard plastic back either with the net thing...they're leather just like the rest of the seat, with a pocket...

I don't have that many buttons, mine's 4-way electric 2-way manual (under the legs). But they look just like mine. I'd say they' F-Body seats, just out of some other packaged one.

BTW, Thumbs Up to the 91 Bird I miss mine

Judging by the design, its definitely after market, looks like a soft trim, most likely that car was a cloth seat car from GM and some one had the seats recovered.
