Default Suggestions needed why won't anybody reply?

Hey guys i am pretty new here and finally got around to posting my information. Well i am 17 years old and i actually just started getting into cars about 3 years ago when my friend purchased a 2000 ss camaro. Now i have a 6 speed z28 camaro and i love it to death. I will have pics soon. It is not in the best of shape but i plan on fixing it back to perfection. I have only had the car for about 5 months and it has 109,000 on the odometer but it only has 15,000 on the bottom end. I have modded it a little bit but only the normal boltons and free mods. Plan on running mid sevens by track season.
tb bypass, granatelli maf, granatelli air lid, slp smooth air bellows, ported tb, pacesetter mid-tube headers, texas speed cat,3:73 gear I was wondering what should i do next to get some quick hp but no juice not allowed yet(parents)

Well when you say running mid 7's i'm assuming in the 1/8th. Well to get into the 7's your going to need alot more done to your car than what you have done so far. Heads & cam package will be able to get you there as long as you have good traction. You should honestly shoot for mid to low 8's with the mods you have so far and then go from there.

I agree, lol. Remember one thing. All that power is worthless if you can't get it to the ground. Suspension upgrades are a must. I noticed a big improvement w/ my car from stock suspension to just UMI poly/poly LCA's, tunnel mount tourque arm, home built panhard and 3-point subframe connectors. The stock MAF is fine up to 500hp. I would sell that Granatelli one and use that $$ towards like everyone else stated: longtube headers, heads, cam, juice, and tires.

Since you have a '98 like me, how about an LS6 intake (around $3-$350 used on the boards) or maybe a FAST setup? I did an LS6 intake, and it's worth every penny, plus if you decide to upgrade to a 90/90, the LS6 intake doesn't seem to loose value. Plugs and wires.

When's the last time it had a tune up? plugs, wires, coolant, fuel filter, air filter, fuel injector cleaning (i've done both ways, the crap you put in the tank, or hooking your fuel rails up to a fuel inj. cleaning machine and running cleaner through them. Best way in my opinion, but most shops charge I think around $40-$70 around here. Glad I worked at a shop

and after all that, a Dyno tune will do your car good

Get drag slicks and practice launching (without breaking the rearend)
definately get an LS6 intake and sell the MAF you have and go back to stock.
get LT headers and then tune. I'm sure just these mods will increase your time pretty well. if you have the money I'd look into getting a 12 bolt rearend...
