Hey Everyone.

Ive got a '04 LM9 here (5.3L), that id like to swap into my camaro.

Few questions; 1: Can i use the truck harness i have here if i use an LS1 intake and f-body accessories?

2: Say i decide to get a cowl hood to clear the intake & Alternator. If i decide in the future to grab an LS1 intake and accessories, what wiring would need to change?

3: If i decided in the future to drop in an LS2 or LS6 (soemthing along those lines), how much electrical changing needs to be done?

1. The truck wiring should be fine.
2. If you use the truck accessories you may have to extend some wires to reach the fbody accessories
3. You shouldn't have to change much of anything. I don't know if the 04 is set up like the ls2 or the ls1. If you go from ls1 to ls2 then katech sells all the adapter harnesses you need (fuel injector, crank sensor, knock sensor)

That's what I was wondering...and does it have the later short injectors and reluctor wheel?

cannot use truck harness with ls1 injectors UNLESS you purchase speartech's adaptors. i think they're like $100. the plugs are different...but you can use ls1 style injectors in gen 4 intake manifolds if you use the oversized o-rings, can be bought from lingenfelter.

Hey guys, thanks for the help.

It has the driveby wire, the new injectors, but im not sure what a reluctor wheel is?

My plan is to use F-body Acc, LS1 intake/fuel rails/injectors/TB. Ill grab the adaptor harness from speartech.
