Ok i have a 2001 Z28 M6 has Pacesetter coated long tubes, flowmaster catback, SLP intake lid, K&N filter and Strut tower brace. What do you think it will run on decent street tires? right now i have nittos with zo6 rims

Ya, those Z06 "rims" makes it a low 12 sec ride...

Joking aside, if you can launch and shift good then you could be there. Lets say your car is more than likely capable, but are you?

IMO leave the catback on there and get a cutout, or switch mufflers. No reason to throw away a 3" catback just to get another when you can just change a muffler.

good point. i also want to keep it street legal, i think cutouts arent...but maybe im wrong. Ive driven manuals since i was 16 i would say im at the very least average with shifting and launching. this is how the car was when i bought it and i need to see if its 3in all through the exhaust

With a cat back, stall (for the A4 guys), and a good tune these cars will run in the 12's.
