ground clearance is great. I lost 0 ground clearance w/ these custom duals. I live in south eastern indiana near lawrenceburg. Hopefully I'll be in Lafayette next year at purdue and I'm gonna try to make the Indy Bash 2008 this fall

Custom x pipe and I got the smallest 3" powerstick you could. I wanna say 16" but I'm not positive

I was going to get sweet thunders but after seeing the inside of them I decided against it and the powersticks have a true 3" flowpath

They are a chambered muffler made by http://www.classicchambered.com/. I have a 16" in place of the resonator on my LM1.

Does anyone know if a Jegs or Summit 3" Universal X Pipe will fit on my 96 WS6 w/ Pacesetter longtube headers without ground clearance issues?

Sounds ok. Im not a huge fan on really loud exhaust on street cars though.

Depends what you have done. If you have a chassis mounted torque arm then your SOL because it wont fit. There have been quite a few people that went this route and they tucked up decent.

Well after having to drive around for 2 weeks w/ open headers this is nowhere near loud....just a tad louder than when i had manifolds, cats, and a cutout. but to each his own

I think it sounds awesome. This is what I want to do when I switch to td's. I may try to go with the medium 'sticks though.

My car is stock other than 1" lowering springs.... Would 3" be too big or should I go 2.5"?

That would be sweet. I heard its a big difference if you get a longer muffler...I'm curious how big the difference would be

Lots of people would say 2.5 for duals...that's what everyone told me but I went w/ 3" and I love it. Also it depends on who sets up your exhaust. I lost 0 ground clearance so lowering my car wouldnt be a big deal. The lowest part on my car is my crossmember

Not sure why anyone would choose 2.5" over 3" when taking the time to do a custom true dual exhaust, sounds like doing open heart surgery and quitting half way through.

LOL well look around at all these threads asking about 3" or 2.5" duals and the majority will say 2.5
