I took my IROC-Z out to the track last night and launched it very hard, i felt the front end come up a LOT with the back squatting also. From different Viewpoints, i'd like to know if yall think i pulled the driver's side wheel off the ground. even if i could slide a piece of paper under it... did it come up enough?
Also, Some funny people in the video commenting My Iroc and my buddy's Trans Am
Mine - 1989 IROC-Z 5.7L 357. full bolt-on L98 / T-5 (2 1/4" exhaust :eyes:)
His - 1996 Trans-am. Full bolt-on LT1 w/tune

I consider a wheelie when both tires leave the ground. The most you might have done is lift the front driver.

maybe...it looks like it pulled it up for just a second...but even if it didnt your close to getting it off the ground...what have you done ti the suspension

No, a wheelie is both front wheels off the ground. You just had a great launch, and pulled the left front

Suspension is nothing special, stock springs, shocks are Formula GP's, stock everything back there. Including my 7.5" 10-bolt and T-5 tranny not exploding when that clutch came off the floor. :-)

looks like a super hard launch but not a wheelie

Hmm...I'm gonna say no. Definitely not both wheels off the ground, but maybe it's a one legger wheelie? Haha nice nonetheless!

Woah buddy. Your forgot to roll the R.
(Mmmm roll up the rim to win :) )
But I'd say you have to lift both of the to count as a wheelie...either way..nice launch!

I can't tell if any tires left the ground. I just posted to say that I'm glad your showing the LT1 community what SBC torque really is - TPI ;)

Mod list? Not bad at all. With only a 1.8 60ft I doubt they were off the ground. But get you some 3.5" wide drag lites for the front and I bet the left from will see about .5-1" of air. I wish my T5 setup would have lasted behind my L98. I went through 2 T5s then gave up and put the 700R4 back in it :(

Definitely not.
I agree.
That was all suspension travel playing with the senses... Hard launch, no doubt, but the tires did not leave the ground IMHO.
