Default Complete Blackout

I like black cars as do many
and was wondering how and the cost to put a dark tint on a trans ams taillaights
and where to find the other turnsignals etc to get everything blacked out

Im pretty sure it has to be custom.. they sell a tinting spray (pretty much spray paint) that works really well.

How good do you have to be with the coats tho
im not a wizz at spray paint

and i also want the turn signals andcourtesy lights to black out
cant you buy them blackened?

VHT niteshade verything....you will know how many coats to put because the more you put the darker they get, also add clear coat when its done...

A lot of people have used VHT on all there lights, as long as you prep it correctly, it should come out right

ya VHT and clearcoat. you can do it all yourself just take your time.

VHT Niteshade for the win, this is with a $2 camera i got at wallgreens so the quality sucks, but you get the idea...

I gotta get one more can and finish mine up, no clear coat on yet....

I doubt it. You can order it online and every once in a while an autoparts store will carry it. The most effective way to use it is by wetsanding and allowing time to dry between coats. Do a search, there is a write up somewhere.

heres mine i actualy sanded mine down and mixed some black paint in with automotive clear and shot them, but i do body work so i have the means to do it, but if you know anyone that does body work i think its the best way to go.

also i could have went alot darker but i didnt want them blacked out

i just used regular clear coat mixed in a little black base coat and sprayed till i liked how it looked
