Default bass ackwards...Ls6 to LS1 intake

ok guys 2 questions, and yes i have searched and searched, will an LS1 intake bolt up to an 01? i assume so since the opposite can happen(sont ask how i might pull this move out) also the Ls6 intake has alot of miles on it, the car is bone stock and around 150k miles

I see no reason why it would not. You will need a freeze plug for the egr port on the top of the ls1 intake your installing but it's like a $5 part.

yeah unless it's cracked, there's no reason to change it. there are no moving parts to wear, it doesnt really just get old lol.

Been there, done that.
Like said above plug the egr hole w/ one of those expanding rubber freeze plugs(1 1/8" IIRC) and you're golden.

yeah use an advance auto rubber expanding freeze plug 1 1/8 to 1 5/16
