Dyno before and after with Pacesetter LT's???
I have an airlid, dynomouth catback, 8.8 w/ 4.10s and I am putting out 315/335 after tune.
what are ur hp.tq gains after ur pacesetter LT's??? I've got a buddy that will install a x-pipe, bullets and tubes all the way out the back, mandrel bent so It sould be a nice gain for me, got any ideas what kind of hp/qt gains for that setup???
any info is welcome!!!

What year? 98 mainfolds have been reported numerous times as the most restrictive. Sorry I don't have the Pacesetters though-I would guess 98- 20 99+up 15??? Just a guess.

Re: Dyno before and after with Pacesetter LT's???
the pacesetters and the y - pipe that comes with them dynoed at 21 rwhp and 27 rwtq, with no other mods and no tuning on a 2000. I believe that was through a borla exhaust. You should see at least that with the x-pipe and bullets. But it might sound like ***. I'm installing my pacesetters this weekend I'll be going through stock ws6 exhaust with a cut out. I'll also be putting in a zo6 cam ported throttle body and new plugs and wires. I think I should have a good SOTP feeling. I'm hoping to be at 390-400 rwhp with the tuning. Wish me luck. By the way do a search for pacesetters or scroll back a few days on the posts. There is a dyno sheet floating around here somewhere showing the gains that I quoted.

yes it's on a 98 and I've heard before the axle dumps with the setup I'm wanting and it sounds sweet as hell. I don't think it'll sound like ***.

We have several sets of the pacesetters on the way, I hope to dyno them as soon as possible

You think you are going to get 390-400rwhp out of the Z06 cam? I would be thinking more along the lines of 365-380 with that cam. I could be wrong I don't know all your mods?

Re: Dyno before and after with Pacesetter LT's???
ok here goes:
01 WS6
!Baffles
MTI lid
K&N
Pacesetter Headers and ORY (no cats)
Ported TB, with coolant bypass
Qtec cutout.
De-screened MAF
FRA
LS6 Cam
MTI Tuning
!AIR
ASP Pulley kit
Nitrous Works 75 wet shot (waiting on jet-kit to go up to 150)
I dyoned 325rwhp, 335rwtq the other day with only lid and cutout. No other mods, none at all. no headers no cam no tuning nothing at all. with the 75 shot I went to 393 rwhp and 413 rwtq. Another guy that was there installed an LS6 cam and picked 27 rwhp with just the cam and no tuning. So yes I do think it's possibly I'll be adding the headers, cam, ported TB, asp Pulley and tuning. I don't see why I can't gain 60 rwhp with those mods. Probably wishful thinking to break 400, but I do think that 385-390 is doeable. Then all I have left is to up the fuel pump and jump up to a 125 shot (trying to stay conservative), and I think I'll be able to make it to 500 rwhp.
