i tried the search but coulnt find specific pictures of what i wanted to know...

how much(if any) modification to the firewall is needed? and does anyone make motor mounts or headers??

im trying to convince my cousin the LSx is the way to go since he blew up the RB30whatever'sinthere motor, im thinking budget 5.3/T56 with a turbo...

if you do a search on here i think there was a sweedish guys that did thsi conversion! turned out to be a nice car!

its actually a V6 thats used originally and a pretty good one to! Nissan used it in racing in the 90's where they where pushing 900+bhp out of them for over 24hours periods at le mans.

If you don't know about it already you need to pull up hybrid z org. They have the most extensive information on the various datsun z car swaps.They have a huge collection of info on almost any engine into datsun z's. Ls1 in these cars makes an awsome packege.You dont have to do any mods. to the fire wall,mabye some work on the trans.tunnel according to which trans you go with.Also check out Jags that run and john's cars,both have conversion products for z cars although most of it is for the earlier cars like 240's,260's and 280's.
