ordering pacesetter longtubes...what y-pipe to use??
i'm ordering the pacesetter LT's for my 98 Z28 and i am just going to use a non catted y-pipe until i can get the extra $$ for true duals, i've heard the pacesetter y-pipe is a pain to fit, what do you recommend? someone told me that the texas speed y-pipe fits good but then again i've heard of people having no issues with the pacesetter y-pipe.

yes, get the 24 inch ones. i had the 12 inch ones at first and they were a bit too tight for my taste. the 24 inch might be overkill, but atleast you can get them up and out of the way where you want them, the 12 inch ones you have limited places to tie them up and they are still close to the primaries.

i ordered everything today and they should be here on monday, i also ordered 2-24" O2 extensions from jegs...the square ones, the pacesetter headers say they come with O2 extensions but it looks like you would have to cut and splice them together, thats why i ordered the ones from jegs..just plug them up, i'll let u guys know how everything goes, i've put headers on a 99 S-10 4.3 before and it was a pain so maybe this won't be too bad.
