Does anyone know if this cam will clear with the 5.3 heads or Patriot LS6 59cc heads ? After seeing all the awesome results from thie cam on some ported LS1 heads i cant resist. this is definitely the cam for me, im just curious if anyone has done it and if it clears.

the X1 is definitely a bad *** street cam. i believe the X1/5.3 heads make a sick combo for sure.

I think the same. but im just not sure if it will clear ... only one way to find out i guess. I figure if the Torquer V2 clears the X1 should also clear, the torquer has more duration and lift all around.

I dont know if this helps but i run the X1 on 241s that have been milled .030

well i did a little more searching on ls1gto and on here and found some really awesome answers and resutls. the X1 will work great with the 5.3s from what ive seen. and there is a thread here where a guy is using PRC heads and the X1 making 462/425 on stock bottom end...

x1 and high compression for the win.
